Electing Benjamin to represent us as our state senator will give us a true outsider that is not interested in rubbing elbows and fake smiles. He understands that his role is to use his knowledge, experience, and the weight of his voters behind him to protect our interests from government intrusion and overreaching. He is a proud Republican and believes in his slogan: “People over Politics.” Benjamin is of the Frederick Douglas, republicanism, school of thought. His first obligation and promise will always be to protect the rights of his constituent, and he promises to help support Clayton and Dekalb counties to become the best places to work, live, play, and raise a family in our state.
He also promises to build an informed constituency, where we will not just hear from him during election season when he needs our votes. Benjamin desires to lead a constituency who wants to move beyond politics as usual.
